About this file
The document provided is a Request for Information (RFI) related to the solicitation for Local Telecommunications Services (LTS) at Selfridge ANGB, MI under solicitation number W50S85-24-Q-A023.
The RFI seeks to clarify whether offerors can propose an alternative solution that delivers PRI and analog voice services separately, rather than a fully emulated SIP trunk service. The RFI also inquires about the availability of existing conduit infrastructure to aid in construction cost estimation. The solicitation is for a managed SIP trunk solution to replace the existing low-speed time-division multiplexed (LSTDM) circuit, with all current capabilities to be migrated. This is a 5-year contract including a base period and 4 option years, to be awarded by the Department of the Army Michigan Army National Guard.

RFI’S
1. The RFQ seems to request a soluon where all of the TDM services are emulated across a single managed SIP trunk service. Is a quote that outlines an alternave soluon and includes services delivered separately as PRIs and analog voice lines acceptable?
Answer: Alternave soluon must have current circuits traversing an emulated SIP circuit.
2. Could you please confirm if there is exisng conduit infrastructure available for roung new fiber opc cables? Ulizing any pre-exisng conduit would significantly aid in our construcon cost esmaon and planning.
Answer: There should not be any infrastructure (conduit/boring/fiber) for the LTS.
