CLIN 0001 – Building Envelope Non personal services: Provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the Construction of repair and renovation of Building P1, including removing exhaust fans, patching roof, seam sealing, wall transition flashing repairs, repairing built up roof, replacement of approximately 1,000 SF of wet insulation, cleaning approximately 4,000 SF of exterior walls, repairing 300 SF brick and 25 SF of EFIS exterior walls, repointing and sealing of approximately 2,750 SF of façade, and repair of exterior cracks in walls IAW B2 Final Submittal specifications and drawings dated 14 January 2021.

W50S83-20-B-0002 CLIN 0002 – Building Interior Non personal services: Provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the Construction of repair and renovation of Building P1, consisting of replacing approximately 14,309 SF of ceiling tiles and approximately 10,648 SF flooring (VCT, carpet, and paint), repair of seven (7) floor trench/plate cover panels, and replacement of weather stripping on 24 doors to create weather tight seals IAW B2 Final Submittal specifications and drawings dated 14 January.

PROJECT SUMMARY

W50S83-21-B-0002 CLIN 0003 – Exterior Stairs & Landings Non personal services: Provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the Construction of repair and renovation of Building P1, consisting of replacing exterior stairs and rails, repair of landing at the main entrance, and any required earthwork to complete installation and repairs IAW B2 Final Submittal specifications and drawings dated 14 January 2021.

FAR 52.236-21

Specifications and Drawings for Construction. This clause provides the guidance that anything mentioned in the specifications and not shown on the drawings, or shown on the drawings and not mentioned in the specifications, shall be of like effect as if shown or mentioned in both. Furthermore, in the case of difference between drawings and specifications, the specifications shall govern.

Project Scope Remove abandoned exhaust fans and patch roof. Perform seam sealing and wall transition flashing repairs at rubber membrane roof. Perform expansion joint repairs, wall transition flashing repairs and repair built up roof. Replace approx. 1,000 SF of wet insulation.

Clean approx. 4,000 SF of exterior wall. Repair 300 SF of brick and 25 SF of EFIS. Repoint and seal approx. 2750 SF of façade. Repair exterior cracks in the walls as identified in the drawings.

Replace/salvage approx. 14,309 SF of ceiling tiles and replace approx. 10,648 SF of flooring (VCT, carpet and paint). Repair 7 floor trench/plate covers panels.

Replace weather stripping on 24 doors to make weather tight.

Replace exterior stairs and rails located by the dining hall door. Repair landing at main entrance so surface is even and flush. Perform required earthwork to complete installation and repairs.

Price per Square Foot to remove asbestos containing floor tile and floor tile adhesive.

Price per Square Foot to remove and replace wet roof insulation, price to include built-up SBS roofing and gravel covering.

Site Visit Following the presentation in the classroom in P-1, the group in attendance walked around to view the inside requirements, then proceeded around the outside of the building to view the exterior parts of the project, and then finally climbed up on the roof to see what was required there.
