About this file
This memorandum documents minutes from a pre-proposal site visit for solicitation W50S7X-23-B-0002 to replace uninterruptable power supplies and perform electrical upgrades at Building 35 at McConnell Air Force Base in Kansas and Building 5010 at Smoky Hill Bomb Range in Salina, Kansas. The scope of work involves removing and replacing the existing UPS units with new supply circuits, conduits, wiring and fittings connecting the new UPS units to upgraded output power panels to accommodate relocated existing loads. Offerors were provided access to the communications and mechanical rooms at both buildings during the site visits. Questions were addressed confirming picture-taking was allowed, manufacturer of replacement lithium-ion batteries did not need to be specific, and contractors would be provided a scheduled downtime to perform the switchover to the new systems. The pre-proposal conference sign-in sheets list attendees and contact information. The procurement is currently unfunded with a 90-day period of performance and 10-day notice to issue notice to proceed.
