About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation W50S7S26Q0016, dated 6 August 2026, addressing clarifications on interior renovation requirements for the 126th Air Refueling Wing Headquarters building (Building 5000) at Scott Air Force Base.

First Floor Clarifications: The document confirms that no additional fire alarm devices are required. Existing data drops in renovated rooms may be reused pending confirmation from Communications Flight staff. Contractors must feed off existing receptacle circuits rather than install new circuits. Regarding televisions, the government will handle removal and relocation of existing TVs and wall brackets from offices 138 and 139, so contractors need not address these items. Second Floor Clarifications: The document corrects room numbering discrepancies, clarifying that second floor rooms are numbered 210 through 216 (not 215-219 as originally referenced), with large red outlines on the updated room layout indicating where rooms are combined in the proposed configuration. This Q&A document serves as essential guidance for contractors preparing quotes and ensures alignment between the solicitation scope and actual site conditions prior to bid submission.
