About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) response clarification memorandum from the 126th Civil Engineer Squadron of the Illinois Air National Guard dated 30 April 2025. The memorandum provides an update to a previous RFI response, specifically addressing Question 20 regarding electrical access for new handicap doors. The original response indicated a home run distance of 125-175 feet from the front entryway to the mechanical room, which has now been revised to approximately 50 feet due to available spare electrical panel capacity in room 132.

The attached floor plan shows the layout of the facility, including various rooms such as the 126 ARW JAG areas, a classroom, lobby, and retention office. The document concludes with instructions for potential bidders to submit any additional questions to the 126ARW Contracting Office, and is signed by Captain Brett W Luithly from the 126th Civil Engineer Squadron.

MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

FROM: 126CES/DBCE

SUBJECT: VDYD252001 RFI Response Clarification

1. This memorandum is an update to the RFI response provided by the 126th Civil Engineer Squadron on 23 April 2025.

2. Question 20 asked, “How far is the home run for 110v access for the new handicap doors? Is there any plans or drawings available for electricity in this building to make a more accurate proposal?” The response originally stated 125-175 feet which is the distance from the front entryway to the mechanical room on the Northwest corner of the building. There is an electrical panel inside room 132 that has spares available to support this project which reduces the estimated distance down to approximately 50 feet.

3. For any questions, submit an RFI to the 126ARW Contracting Office.
