W50S7H23B0001 – LRXY172402 B180 Renovation Contractor RFIs

As of 3 June 2024

1. Elevation 6/A11.0 is not consistent with Room 113 on Sheets A1.1A and A6.0, which show the lockers to the left of the shower. Please advise which is correct.

See revised sheet A11.0 in Addendum #1.

2. Specification Section 10 14 00 SIGNAGE, para. 1.01.A. states to refer to Drawings and Signage Schedule. Paragraph 2.02.B. also refers to a signage schedule. The signage types are shown on Sheet A14.0, however there is no schedule. For example, what differentiates use of Sign Type 3 and Sign Type 4 as Typical Room Signage? What differentiates use of Sign Type 10 and Sign Type 11 at Building Entrance Doors? A note on A14.0 states “Schedule to be provided by Architect.”

Please advise.

See new sheets A14.1A and A14.1B in Addendum #1 for signage plan. Also see revised A14.0 in Addendum #1. Official room naming and numbering will be addressed in submittals during construction.

3. Door 151, as indicated on the Door Schedule on Sheet A10.0 is Frame Type 12. This frame type elevation does not show a mullion. However, Opening 151 on Sheet A1.1A seems to indicate a center mullion or two (2) Frame Type 12’s. We also need to have the width dimension of this frame. Please clarify.

See revised sheet A10.0 in Addendum 01.

4. Please provide hardware sets on Door Schedule on Sheet A10.0.

See specification section 08 71 00 for Hardware Schedule.

5. We have not been able to locate Storefront Type D on the plans or elevations. Is it used?

Storefront Type D not used. See revised sheet A10.1 in Addendum 01.

6. Please clarify Door 106. Is it wood sliding doors in hollow metal frame or aluminum sliding doors in aluminum frame?

They are wood sliding doors in an aluminum frame. See revised A10.0 in Addendum 01.

7. Drawing ES1.0 note states we are to provide a 12str fiber & 25pr copper from the manhole to the comm room & terminate. Is this singlemode or multimode fiber?

Are we to splice the fiber & 25pr copper in the handhole into existing cables or leave coiled for someone else?

The fiber shall be single mode. Splicing to existing infrastructure to be accomplished by owner.
