About this file
This combined synopsis and solicitation seeks proposals for preventative medical services to support approximately 40 individuals at the Minnesota Air National Guard. Vendors are asked to propose plans for on-site physical therapy, massage therapy, strength conditioning, and athletic training services to be provided in an 18'x18' primary space and optional 8'x18' secondary space furnished with vendor equipment. Vendors should also suggest overflow equipment for a common-access government-owned workout room. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses and offers a base year and two option years with pricing on a monthly basis. Proposals are due within 30 days and will be evaluated on price, technical merit, and past performance, with the highest rated vendors entering discussions to refine their quotes. Award is intended for one contract but partial or multiple awards are possible.

Q2 Can you confirm that the solicitation is referring to 3 spaces, as follows :
a. Primary space: 18’x18’ space for the Vendor to use in the provision of the services, furnished with vendor equipment.
b. Secondary space: 8’x18’ , to be included as part of an optional plan, furnished with vendor equipment.
c. Common-access workout room: size not included, vendor can list which overflow equipment they wish for the government to stock.
A2. That is accurate.
Q3 Please, confirm the amount of space available in the common-access workout room for the overflow equipment.
A3. This is government owned space. You are free to suggest any amount of equipment for the government then to decide what to purchase in support of the requirement. Your primary contract should be able to be fulfilled in the previous space noted. If the government wants specific support equipment, there will be space.
Q4 From PWS “1.4.6 Physical Security. The contractor shall safeguard all Government property provided for contractor use. At the close of each work period, Government facilities, equipment and materials shall be secured.”
Will the Government provide locks and keys for the doors of the primary 18’x’18’ room and the optional 8’x18’ room? Is the Contractor expected to install a security system at the facility? Other than ensuring all doors are locked, is there any additional security needed?
A4. Yes, the government will provide lock and keys for the space. Contractor is not required to install a security system. The building has several high security features already. The vision is that the vendor will only have to lock up their area when not in use.
