About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) for Carpet Building 2272, solicitation number W50S74-25-R-A019, dated 18 August 2025. The document contains five key questions and responses related to a potential carpet replacement project, including site visitor requirements, hazardous material survey reports, a solicitation instruction misprint, flooring removal details, and bid guarantee submission procedures.
Key details include confirmation that site visitors only need to provide a name and driver's license, hazardous material (ACM) survey reports are available with no ACM identified under the carpet, a solicitation instruction mistakenly references "Paint interiors" which should read "Carpet", and bid guarantee submissions can be electronic initially with an original to be mailed or dropped off at a later date. The RFI provides clarifying information for potential bidders to understand the project scope and submission requirements.
