About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document from a Request for Quote (RFQ) process regarding compressed air equipment procurement. The document addresses two key vendor inquiries from Castair regarding equipment specifications and delivery capabilities.

Regarding the equipment specifications, the buyer confirmed acceptance of dual 15 horsepower units producing 100 CFM at 175 PSI, contingent upon retention of the existing 400-gallon tank. Castair indicated manufacturing capability within 10-15 days with delivery within 30 days after receipt of order. For electrical requirements, the buyer's civil engineering team confirmed the units must be wired for three-phase 208VAC power, clarifying a discrepancy in the original RFQ which had indicated compatibility with 200V or 230/460V options.
