About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a gas valve replacement project at Fresno Air National Guard Base in California.
The project, titled "Replace Main Gas Valve at BLDG 100" (Project No. HAYW061824), requires the contractor to reconfigure approximately 30 linear feet of existing gas piping connecting to the main gas valve and regulator for the 144th Fighter Wing installation at Building 100. Work includes removing the existing regulator and installing one new commercial-grade regulator sized for building load and operating pressure requirements, replacing all necessary existing natural gas valves with new commercial-grade valves, installing a minimum of three cut-off valves to control gas flow to Building 100, Building 102, and the remaining downstream installation, and finishing new gas piping with safety yellow paint per UFC/industry standards with directional flow arrows and identification labels. All work must comply with specified codes and standards including UFC 3-420-01, UFC 3-430-05, Uniform Plumbing Code, NFPA 54, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, ASTM standards, OSHA requirements, and manufacturer installation instructions. The period of performance spans no longer than 30 calendar days, with work occurring between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and federal holidays. The contractor must obtain base access approval for all personnel, maintain a Quality Control Plan, provide closure documentation including certificates of no debts to suppliers, before and after photographs, and applicable O&M manuals.
