W50S6S22Q0015 DFAC Attendant Q&A # 1

Q1. Is this a new contract or was it previously awarded. If so what is the prior awardee company name? / Is there a current contract in place for this RFQ? If so, what is the solicitation #? / We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract #?

A1. Services are currently on-going under contract W912L217C2000. A FOIA request may be submitted if more information is required.

Q2. Are the contact workers required to wear uniforms with company name badges?

A2. Refer to amended PWS para. 3.10.

Q3. Based on the prior sources sought, it appears that this solicitation should fall under either the Randolph Sheppard or AbilityOne priorities. Please confirm if you have engaged with either group, as there is a MOU which requires cooperation between these entities in determining applicability of DFAC services in military dining facilities.

A3. Sources Sought Notice W50S6S-22-RFI-0007 was a request for information (RFI) posted to SAM.gov as a means to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources and their size classifications. RFIs facilitate market research and are not necessarily indicative of the full/final scope of work. AbilityOne/Source America has been contacted. AZ Dept. of Economic Security responded to the above referenced RFI and has scheduled a site visit related to the subject RFQ.

Q4. We are also requesting acknowledgement of the Randolph Sheppard priority applicable to this solicitation A4. Applicability of Randolph Sheppard Act against the scope of work within the PWS and any priority afforded has not been determined. Legal counsel has been contacted and any further information is not available at this time.
