About this file

This document is a performance work statement (PWS) for mess attendant services at a dining facility (DFAC) located at an Air National Guard base in Arizona. The PWS requires the contractor to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supervision, and quality control, except as specified as government-furnished, to perform mess attendant services. Services include food preparation, material handling, and operating the DFAC during monthly unit training assembly weekends for approximately 600-750 personnel over 2.5-hour meal periods. The performance period is one base year plus two option years. The contractor must perform services between 0600-1430 hours on training weekends except federal holidays or facility closures. The contractor must maintain adequate staffing for uninterrupted performance. Stability and continuity of the workforce are essential. Teleworking is not authorized. The contractor must operate in a high-paced kitchen environment and be able to accomplish tasks without assistance in close proximity to military staff and patrons.
