The following are Request for Information questions and answers. All answers are in Bold.

1. Will there be a location on site for stored materials such as conduit, fittings, light fixtures, etc…? Will a secured “connex” box be required?

Answer: A laydown area is available so a connex box is not explicitly required. The contractor will be required to keep area neat and protected from the elements for the duration of the project. Also the Gov’t is not responsible for security of contractor materials or tools.

2. Please confirm that the proposal package may be mailed to the address in BOX 7 of the SF1442.

Answer: Confirmed, mark the front of the envelope with “BID No.W50S6M-20-B-0001.”

3. If proposals are allowed to be mailed installed of hand delivered to the bid repository, does the want anything additional on the exterior of the package other than the below?

Answer: Mark the front of the envelope with the following: “BID No.W50S6M-20-B-0001”, and the name and address of bidder. See block 13A of SF 1442 for required number of copies.

4. Section 00100 Paragraph 5.1 states the “subject line: reference no. W50S6M-20-B-002”. Please confirm that the solicitation number ending in “002” is what the government would like the contractors to use instead of “W50S6M- 20-B-001.”

Answer: Section 00100 Paragraph 5.1 is incorrect; contractors are to use W50S6M-20-B-0001.

5. For both buildings, there is requirement for an Emergency Generator Receptacle. Please provide a basis of design (Manufacturer, Style, Amp Rating, Etc.) for the required receptacle for generator connection.

Answer: These generator connections will wire directly into the transfer switch.

6. There are no requirements listed for Temporary Power and Lighting to the Pump house Building 137 while it is being constructed. Will Temporary Power and Lighting be required?
