About this file

This document provides an amendment to a solicitation for repair and replacement of fire suppression systems at two buildings on an Air National Guard base in Alabama.

The amendment decreases the period of performance from 635 to 585 days to align with revised schedule logic. It also provides responses to requests for information. The solicitation seeks services to replace aging aqueous film-forming foam systems with new high-expansion foam systems at Buildings 135 and 138, including removal and disposal of existing equipment. A pre-bid conference and site visit were held in June 2020. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses and is subject to Davis-Bacon wage rates. The award will be a firm-fixed-price contract for services to be completed in accordance with specifications dated January 2020.
