About this file

This document is a product specification for a Stationary Infantry Target (SIT) training system and related protective equipment.

The SIT is a standalone training device capable of individual, group, or scenario-based control with onsite scenario development capabilities. It operates in all environments and weather conditions without hazardous materials or fluids. The system features AR500 steel construction with vulcanized ballistic rubber in an interlocking, no-weld design, with built-in lift points for portability and protection against ammunition up to 7.62 caliber. The lifters component includes a 35 amp/12 VDC battery or AC power converter, three communication modes (hardwire, 802.11ac, and RF), accurate DC battery voltage reading with maintenance reporting, an external control panel with programmable LED functionality, user-defined hit-to-kill settings and sensitivity levels, and a handheld remote device for operation. The ballistic shields feature tool-free interlocking assembly/disassembly, multi-terrain capability, and full protection enclosure for the lifter mechanism. The SIT Emplacement Protector is a modular, drop-in solution with AR500 steel and vulcanized ballistic rubber rated to 7.62 caliber, designed to protect soil berm edges on shooting ranges while preventing erosion and structural damage. The protector offers virtually maintenance-free operation with easily replaceable components and dimensions of 16" x 22" x 72".
