About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) with answers to six technical questions regarding HVAC and fan installation for a military construction project. The questions cover details such as fire alarm system connections, ductwork modifications, and fan mounting specifications for new HVAC units at a drill hall in Amherst, NY. Key responses include: new HVAC units will not be connected to the fire alarm system, return ducts can be relocated high with grill on mixing box, walls will require drywall patching and painting after ductwork removal, and outbuilding fans should be ceiling-mounted instead of wall-mounted due to potential vibration and weight issues. The contractor is instructed to verify existing fire alarm connections prior to removal.

10-foot diameter, six anodized airfoils, direct drive motor, wall mounted variable speed controller also on a timer, max 124 RPM.
