1. Q: In 1.4 “Scope” of the Performance Work Statement, it lists bi-weekly edging as a service.
However, in 5.4 “Maintain Grounds” it only describes trimming. Can you verify whether a vertical cut (edging) is a required service, or just a horizontal cut (trimming)?
A: The service requires a horizontal cut (trimming).
2. Q: Is there a staging area to keep equipment on site? If so, it is secured?
A: No, equipment is not authorized to be stored on site.
3. Q: Pertaining selecting awardee. Is the contract set up to be awarded to the lowest bidder?
A: As stated in this RFQ, the Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to the contractor who submits the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. A contractor MUST be registered on SAM.gov to be eligible for award.
