About this file

This document contains a federal contract solicitation and related questions and answers file. The solicitation is for the manufacture, test, and delivery of 105mm M724A2 Target Practice, Discarding Sabot with Tracer (TPDS-T) cartridges for use in 105mm M68 gun tubes on Stryker Mobile Gun Systems. The Army seeks to procure these cartridges to provide ballistic match to 105mm kinetic tactical cartridges at limited maximum range of 7,000 meters for practice firings at short range training areas. Load Assembly & Pack and Deep Drawn Cartridge Cases will be restricted to U.S. and Canada sources to protect domestic ammunition production capability. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment to meet drawing, statement of work and solicitation requirements. The Army anticipates a single award with deliveries required within 24 months of contract award. The questions and answers file addresses pricing terms contractors have proposed and applicability of equitable adjustment clauses.
