Refuse Collection and Recycling Services – Wilkes-Barre, PA

W15QKN-20-Q-5016

Q: Based on page 6 section 1.5.6.2., Could you please confirm if we need to have a contractor representative physically on site five days a week?

A: No, not five days a week. Only when you are conducting the services.

Q: The INSTRUCTION TO OFFERORS (Pg. 3 of 89) #2 denotes Base Year as 4 months, however Contract Line Items (CLINs) 0001 & 0002 (Pg. 21 of 89) each denote 5 months(ly) units on Delivery information (Pg. 32 of 89) appears to indicate 5 monthly units.

Does the contract call for a 4-month Base or a 5-month Base?

A: On “Instructions to Offerors” Pg. 3 of 89 Item #2, it should read “5 months”. This contract has a 5-month base, not a 4-month base. This is a typo and has been corrected below.

It should read: “The Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-priced contract. The period of performance for this effort shall be a 5-month base period and 4, 12-month option periods from the date of contract award.”

***PLEASE INCLUDE SIGNED AMENDMENT WITH YOUR PROPOSAL ACKNOWLDEGING THE CHANGES*** Q: For Contract Line Item #’s 1003, 2003, 3003, 4003, the amounts requested pricing for 6 units, however the PWS describes (1) 15 Cubic Yard Dumpster Serviced 1x Every 3 Months indicating 4 units for each per option year. Does it call for 4 units or 6 units?

A: 6 units was erroneously entered into the solicitation as the number of units. The actual number of units for CLINs 1003, 2003, 3003, 4003 is 4 units each. Please place your bids accordingly.

***PLEASE INCLUDE SIGNED AMENDMENT WITH YOUR PROPOSAL ACKNOWLDEGING THE CHANGES***
