23. QUESTION: We are looking to submit application for the above referenced vehicle contract: please could you advise if following documents need to be returned with the initial proposal:

*Non-Disclosure Agreement
*Attachment 6: FCDDAC Form 1350
*Form DD2345

If all or any need to be submitted for the initial proposal please advise:

ANSWER: No the above documents are not required for the initial submission of the Offeror's proposal for CRD PPON OTA.

24. QUESTION: If all or any need to be submitted for the initial proposal please advise:

1.Which volume (1 or 2)
2.Do these documents count against the 20 page count?

ANSWER: These documents do not pertain to any volume or count against any page limits.

25. QUESTION: The CRD shall have a resolution with corresponding refresh rate of either: 1280x960 (60 or 85 Hz), 1280x1024 (60, 75, or 85 Hz), or 1600x1200 (60 Hz) pixels.

There is no mention if the resolutions above should be understood as “native resolution of the LCD” or “resolution and refresh rates compatible with the CRD”? The corresponding aspect ratios for those resolutions are 4/3 and 5/4. Various 15” or 17” displays can be built with higher resolutions (such as 1920x1080), still compatible with the resolutions above, but without matching those aspect ratios (16/9 for 1920x1080 as an example). The main consequence would be a distorted image (if the source is stretched) or an image surrounded by black bars for unused pixels (if the source aspect ratio is respected). An aspect ratio should be indicated in the go no go criteria to avoid those situations.

ANSWER: The native aspect ratio should be 4:3 with the above supported resolutions (understanding that 1280x1024 is 5:4 as a supported resolution)

26. QUESTION: The second question relates to the one above: as there is no overall envelope requirement to respect, any 15” or 17” display matching the mounting pattern could be proposed without knowing if it would also match the maximum allowed foot print. Can the maximum envelope of the display be listed in the go/no go criteria? Please note that an aspect ratio requirement would also provide some information regarding the maximum envelope that needs to be respected, even if this maximum envelope cannot be disclosed.

ANSWER: As mentioned in the response above the aspect ratio requirement is 4:3.

There is currently no maximum envelope.
