Utility Requirements Specification
Electric power
• Single connection point procured by the US Army:
208V/60Hz/3phase/100A.
• The connection of the electrical cabinet to the electrical mains of the installation facility is out of EnWave’s scope of work (not procured by EnWave). The US Army should provide a professional electrician to perform this connection.
• The main circuit breaker where the electrical connection needs to be done is in the electrical cabinet. As shown in the picture.

Utility Requirements Specification
Cooling water from your chiller
• Single connection point procured by the US Army: 5°C to
15°C. Minimum required flow rate: 50 LPM. Minimum pressure: 3 bar (45 psi).
• If sufficient cooling water supply is not available at the installation facilities. This requirement can be covered with a chiller which cooling capacity is larger than 6 Refrigeration Tons (indoor air cooled chiller). Please notice that this chiller is not provided by EnWave Corporation.
• The connection of the pump skid to your chiller at the installation facility is out of EnWave’s scope of work (not procured by EnWave). The US Army should provide a technician to perform this connection.
• The connection supplied with the REV pump skid is 1” NPT female. The US Army needs to provide the necessary fittings and piping/hoses to interface the supply and return lines of their chiller or cooling water supply to the 1” NPT female fittings provided with the pump skid (supply and return lines).
The pump skid fittings are shown in the photographs.

Utility Requirements Specification
Compressed air
• Single connection point procured by the US Army: Filtered dry air: 1CFM @ 90 psi.
• The compressed air supply needs to be connected to the compressed air tube supply connection provided with the pump skid. This compressed air tube connection is a 1/4” OD plastic tubing. The US Army needs to provide a push in connection and the materials necessary to interface this 1/4” OD plastic tubing with their compressed air supply.
This connection is out of EnWave’s scope of work (not procured by EnWave).
1/4” OD push in fitting commonly used (it is not mandatory to use this specific type of fitting as long as the fitting chosen properly interfaces the 1/4” OD tubing provided with the pump skid.
Compressed air tube in the pump skid that needs to be connected to the compressed air supply (1/4” OD plastic tubing at the right).

Utility Requirements Specification
Internet connection
• Single connection point procured by the US Army: Hard wired
Internet connection (5, 5e, 6, 6a).
• The US Army needs to procure the connection of the electrical cabinet to their IT infrastructure.
• The Ethernet receiver is located in the electrical cabinet as shown in the photograph.

Tentative Installation Procedure
Traditionally, the installation/commissioning process of the REV dryer takes 3 to 4 days. Please find below an estimate of the expected schedule and required materials:
• Day 1 (and maybe day 2): Our filed engineer works with your team on the installation of the REV dryer. During day 1 and day 2 the US Army needs to provide the following resources:
• Your electrician should be available during day 1 to connect the REV dryer to the mains of your plant.
• Your technician should be available to connect the pump skid of the REV dryer to your cooling water supply, and the compressed air supply.
• Your IT personnel should be available to connect the REV dryer to your Internet infrastructure.
• One technical assistant should be available during days 1 and 2 to help our engineer. The assistant should have access to a basic mechanical/electrical toolkit. We recommend that the person assisting our engineer during installation is the person that will oversee service and maintenance for the dryer (maintenance personnel).
• A +5,000 lb. forklift, gantry or lifting table.
• A +5,000 lb. pallet jack.
• Day 2: Our field engineer and our process scientist will test the functionalities of the REV dryer to confirm that everything is operating according to specifications. If the testing of the machine results ideal, our process scientist could start training your team on day 2.
• Day 3 (and if necessary day 4): Our process scientist trains your team and confirms commissioning of the REV dryer.
