The connections and utilities that US Army CCDC SC needs to procure:
• (A) Power to the electrical cabinet: 208V/3phase/80A/60Hz. More details in page 14.
• (B) Cooling water to the pump skid: 15GPM at 45PSI (5C to 15C) cooling capacity of at least 6 Ref Tons (>21 kW). The standard pump skid is equipped with 1” NPT female supply and return connections. Please specify if a different connection standard is required. We can supply 1” male BSPT converters or 1.5” TC fittings if requested. Please request these by email to avalerio@enwave.net. More details in pages 15 and 16.
• (C) Compressed air to the pump skid: 1 CFM at 90 PSI (we provide a ¼” plastic tubing to connect the compressed air supply). Please specify if a different connection standard is required. More details in page 17.
• (D) Wired Internet connection to the electrical cabinet: Ethernet cable connection. Highly recommended for maintenance and troubleshooting but not critical for operation. More details in page 18.
• (E) Water to fill the buffer tank in the pump skid: This is not a continuous water supply. The buffer tank may need to be top-up every week or every time the level is too low. This does not need to be a permanent installation (e.g. a water hose can be used for this purpose). An example in page 19.

List of drainage points in the REV dryer
• (G) Drying chamber (washing water) [2” TC connection]: This drainage is used to drain washing fluids form the main chamber. Shown in pages 9 and 10.
• (H) Surge tank / condenser (condensation water from the product and washing fluids) [1.5” TC connection]: This drainage point is used to drain the condensed water of the drying process. Shown in pages 9 and 11.
• (I) Pump skid (cooling water) [1.5” TC connection]: This drain is used to remove the excess of cooling water in the pump skid.
Shown in pages 12 and 13.
NOTE: The drainage segregation should be done in accordance to local regulations by US Army CCDC
SC.

Utility Requirements Specification
(A) Power to the electrical cabinet
• Single connection point procured by US Army CCDC SC: 208V/60Hz/3phase/80A.
• The connection of the electrical cabinet to the electrical mains of the installation facility is out of EnWave’s scope of work (not procured by EnWave). US Army CCDC SC should provide a professional electrician to perform this connection in accordance to local standards.
• The main circuit breaker where the electrical connection needs to be done is in the electrical cabinet (as shown in the picture). Cables are fed from the top of the cabinet.

(B) Cooling water to the pump skid
• Single connection point procured by US Army CCDC SC: 5°C to
15°C. Minimum required flow rate: 15 GPM. Minimum pressure:
45 psi. Clean filtered water in accordance to local standards.
• If sufficient cooling water supply is not available at the installation facilities. This requirement could be covered with a chiller with a cooling capacity larger than 6 Ref Tons (>21 kW) (conceptual example in page 16). EnWave does not provide this chiller or any other means to supply this cooling water requirement (e.g. chiller, filter, expansion tank, etc.).
• The connection of the REV pump skid to your cooling water supply (e.g. chiller) is out of EnWave’s scope of work. US Army CCDC SC should provide a technician to perform this connection.
• The standard connection supplied with the REV pump skid is 1” NPT female. US Army CCDC SC needs to specify if a different connection is needed (email to avalerio@enwave.net).

(5C to 15C)
(C) Compressed air to the pump skid
• Single connection point procured by US Army CCDC SC: 1CFM @ 90 psi. Filtered dry air in accordance with local standards.
• The compressed air supply needs to be connected to the compressed air connection provided with the pump skid. This compressed air connection is a 1/4” OD plastic tubing. US Army CCDC SC needs to specify if a different connection is needed (please send an email to avalerio@enwave.net).
• The required compressor, filter and connection of the compressed air line is out of EnWave’s scope of work (not procured by EnWave).
Most of our partners use 1/4” OD push in fitting
Compressed air tube in the pump skid that needs to be connected to the compressed air supply (1/4” OD plastic tubing at the right).

(D) Wired Internet connection to the electrical cabinet
• This connection is highly recommended but not mandatory for the operation of the REV dryer.
• Single connection point procured by US Army CCDC SC: Hard wired
Internet connection (5, 5e, 6, 6a).
• US Army CCDC SC needs to procure the connection of the electrical cabinet to the IT infrastructure.
• The Ethernet receiver is located in the electrical cabinet as shown in the photograph. The internet connection is only used for remote access and service.
• The connection will use eWon Cosy 131 (static IP). Some ports may be open for that static IP.

Tentative Installation Plan
Assuming that all utilities are readily available and there is sufficient product for testing, the installation/commissioning process of the REV dryer takes approx. 3 to 4 days. Please find below an estimate of the expected schedule and required materials:
• Day 1 (and maybe day 2): Our field engineer works with your team on the installation of the REV dryer. During day 1 and day 2 US Army CCDC SC needs to provide the following resources:
• All utilities described in page 8 of this document including sufficient product for testing.
• Electrician available during day 1 to connect the REV dryer to the electrical mains.
• Technician available during day 1 to connect the pump skid of the REV dryer to the cooling water supply (e.g. chiller), and the compressed air supply.
• IT personnel available during day 1 to connect the REV dryer to the Internet infrastructure.
• One technical assistant should be available during days 1 and 2 to help our engineer. The assistant should have access to a basic mechanical/electrical toolkit. We recommend that the person assisting our engineer is the person that will oversee service and maintenance for the dryer (maintenance personnel).
• A +5,000 lb. forklift, gantry or lifting table.
• A +5,000 lb. pallet jack.
• Day 2: Our field engineer and our process scientist will test the functionalities of the REV dryer to confirm that everything is operating according to specifications. If the testing of the machine results ideal, our process scientist could start training your team on day 2. During day 2 and day 3 US Army CCDC SC needs to provide the following resources:
• Sufficient product to test.
• Top loading scale.
• Small coffee grinder.
• Moisture analyzer.
• Water activity meter.
• IR thermometer.
• Day 3 (and if necessary day 4): Our process scientist trains your team and confirms commissioning of the REV dryer.
