About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research purposes related to Project B1947 at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. The project involves replacing fluorescent lighting fixtures with new LED troffers in Building 1947 (SOW VLSB 26-0075). The RFI explicitly states that responses will not be used to award a contract and is intended solely to help refine the government's acquisition strategy.

The RFI requests vendor information including company name, address, point of contact details, website, and small business classification status under NAICS code 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors). Respondents must indicate their interest in working at Shaw AFB, SAM.gov registration status and CAGE code, familiarity with the Government Point of Entry, and preference to bid as prime contractor or subcontractor. The RFI also solicits project-specific capabilities, requesting vendors describe relevant experience with LED troffer installation projects completed within the past five years and provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimate for market research purposes only. Additionally, vendors are asked to review the attached Statement of Work and provide feedback on its clarity, identify any vague or missing elements, and pose specific questions regarding scope, deliverables, or requirements to support successful project planning.
