This is a Timber Sale Preparation, Layout, and Cruising Vicinity Map created by the Oregon Department of State Lands for the Elliott State Research Forest, located northwest of Coos Bay, Oregon. The map depicts the project area within the forest, highlighting specific timber sale project locations marked in purple across the forest's terrain. The map provides a comprehensive geographic overview of the proposed timber sale areas, including detailed boundary lines for the Elliott State Research Forest and the specific timber sale project sites.

The map includes multiple scale references, ranging from 0-260 miles and 0-20 miles, and features inset maps showing the project's location within Oregon's broader geographic context. The surrounding topography is illustrated through shaded relief, with elevation markers and nearby geographic features such as Tenmile Lake, Coos Bay, and surrounding ridges and communities like North Bend, Reedsport, and Scottsburg. The map is designed to give potential contractors and stakeholders a clear spatial understanding of the timber sale preparation project's location and extent within the research forest.
