About this file
This document contains vendor questions and agency responses regarding a Generator Repair and Maintenance contract for the state of Illinois, specifically in Sangamon County. The contract requires the use of factory trained technicians to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various generators located throughout the county, in accordance with the manufacturer's service/maintenance manuals. The contract removes one generator location that is under the manufacturer's warranty, and includes a generator at 4700 Roger Street that is currently not working but will be part of the contract once repaired. The contract specifies the load bank testing requirements. Vendors should include their costs for preventative maintenance and hourly wages for any subsequent repairs in their bid submission.
The contract does not provide any details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or other salient commercial information. Interested vendors should review the attached revised Generator Rep and Maint Springfield contract for full details on the scope of work, requirements, and submission process.
