About this file

This document contains vendor questions and answers regarding an invitation to bid on a contract for the Illinois Secretary of State to provide 25,010 Certificates of Passenger Protection for taxicab/livery vehicles monthly inserts. The certificates must be produced as a face pressure sensitive application type product with a write-on backer surface. Quotes are due by October 30, 2024, and the contract award will be made upon review of the quotes received. The Secretary of State's office requires the full order by December 31, 2024 and will have 10 days to review samples to ensure they meet their needs.

The document specifies that the certificates must be provided in glassine envelopes, not paper, and that the stock thickness is 1 mil or .009 110# tag. There is no printing on the glassine envelope itself, only on the instruction card that will be included. This is a one-time contract award with no renewal options indicated.
