About this file
This is a vendor Q&A document from the Illinois Secretary of State regarding solicitation B-46545 for doors and door hardware. The document addresses two specific questions about exterior door requirements, clarifying that the doors must be flush (slab) style that meet the exact specifications outlined in the solicitation, with no windows. The doors are specified to be hollow core, and SOS carpenters will handle the mortising of the doors.
The Q&A is part of a larger Request for Quote (RFQ) where vendors can bid on individual line items for doors, door jambs, door handles, and related hardware. The procurement allows for partial bids, meaning vendors are not required to bid on all items to be considered for award.
