About this file
This document is a Vendor Affidavit from Hillsborough County Public Schools regarding compliance with human trafficking prevention statutes under Section 787.06(13) of Florida Statutes. The affidavit requires all nongovernmental entities (contractors) executing, renewing, or extending contracts with governmental entities to certify that they do not engage in any coercive labor practices.
The affidavit mandates that contractors explicitly affirm they will not use physical force, threaten or restrain individuals, establish exploitative debt arrangements, confiscate identification documents, cause financial harm, entice by fraud, or provide controlled substances for exploitation. By signing the document, the authorized contractor representative declares under penalty of perjury that their company adheres to these strict anti-human trafficking standards. The form requires the contractor's authorized representative to provide their signature, name, title, and date of execution.
