About this file

This document is a Vendor Affidavit from Hillsborough County Public Schools regarding the prevention of human trafficking and labor coercion, required under Section 787.06(13) of Florida Statutes. The affidavit mandates that all nongovernmental entities executing, renewing, or extending contracts with governmental entities must provide a signed statement certifying they do not engage in various forms of labor coercion or exploitation.

The affidavit specifically requires contractors to affirm they will not use physical force, restrain or isolate individuals, establish exploitative debt arrangements, confiscate identification documents, cause financial harm, entice by fraud, or provide controlled substances for exploitation. The document serves as a legal declaration under penalty of perjury, requiring an authorized representative to sign and attest to the company's compliance with these anti-trafficking provisions. While directly related to a parts cleaner service and equipment contract for Hillsborough County Public Schools vehicle garages, the affidavit is a standard compliance document focused on preventing human trafficking and ensuring ethical labor practices.
