About this file
This is a Vendor Affidavit regarding the use of coercion for labor and services submitted in connection with Hillsborough County Public Schools' competitive bidding process for point-of-sale terminals and peripherals for Student Nutrition Services. The affidavit serves as a compliance document requiring vendors to certify their adherence to labor practices and ethical standards as a condition of bid submission and contract award consideration.
The vendor affidavit contains standard attestations prohibiting the use of coercion, forced labor, human trafficking, and unethical labor practices in the performance of contracted services. Vendors must affirm compliance with applicable federal and state labor laws and certify that neither they nor their subcontractors will engage in any form of labor coercion or services obtained through fraudulent means. This document functions as a mandatory pre-award requirement, ensuring that awarded contractors operate under ethical labor standards and maintain compliance with statutory labor protections throughout the contract term.
