About this file
This file is a detailed spreadsheet outlining vehicle barrier maintenance and repair requirements at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. The document specifies requirements for maintaining 24 vehicle barriers across four gates, including both electric wedge barriers (RSS-2000 model) and removable bollards (Cal Pipe), along with associated control panels, traffic controls, and warning systems.
The contract structure includes a base year plus four option years, with three main CLINs per period: quarterly preventive maintenance (4 times per year), routine service calls (40 visits), and emergency service calls (20 visits). The contractor must provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary for maintenance and repairs. Key requirements include quarterly preventive maintenance, 24-hour response time for routine service calls, 6-hour response time for emergency calls, and specific deliverables such as maintenance logs, quarterly reports, and annual training materials. The government provides a $50 per barrier per quarter parts allowance. Each gate features multiple control panels, traffic lights, and detection systems, with specific equipment details and operational requirements outlined in the barrier/equipment information chart.

| *The DoorKing 1601 Drop Arm is not considered a vehicle barrier per PWS Section 1.2 because it is a light duty drop arm and not a crash rated system; however, this is a piece of support equipment which will require the Contractor's attention. Therefore, the total number of vehicle barriers for the contract is twelve (12). | |
