In addition to the requirements of this Specification, the Contractor shall refer to

Attachment “A” for a detailed list of equipment locations and identification of all systems covered under this Contract. The Contractor shall use Attachment “A” to determine which equipment requires Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) repair and/or replacement services as part of the Contract scope.

4.13. Repair and/or Replacement

a. In situation in which the lack of immediate repair may result in injury to a person or damage to the VFD or any other Authority property, the Contractor shall immediately place the applicable equipment out of service and notify the AAR as soon as possible.

b. If the AAR determines that any VFD is non-repairable or that it is more cost effective to replace the VFD rather than repair it, then the Contractor will provide the AAR a written quote for the complete VFD replacement. No replacement work will take place until the AAR provides written approval to the Contractor. Due to the control points and interlocks incorporated into all VFD, Contractor shall coordinate any replacement work with existing Building Automation System and

d. If any deficiencies, incomplete work, or non-conforming conditions are identified during inspection, the AAR or authorized designee shall provide written notice to the Contractor. The Contractor shall correct all deficiencieswithin seven (7) business days following receipt of such written notice, unless a shorter timeframe is necessary for safety, operational, or regulatory reasons.
