CONTINUATION PAGE

This Amendment contains design efficiencies for VA101-16-R-0327 to be priced in bidders Final Price Revision Proposal. CFM is trying to get costs in line with the budget allocated for this project.

The government recommends that bidders visit the Department of the Hacienda and contact LCDA Roxana Cruz Rivera and LCDO Angel L. Pantoja Rodriguez to identify prime and subcontract material and equipment and vendor relationships for the project to determine valid federal government project exemptions from sales and use tax and Business to Business (B2B) tax. This recommendation could provide additional cost savings for this project.

Bidders should also visit with the Morovis Municipality and contact the Honorable Carmen Maldonado Gonzalez and Ariel Soto to determine if Municipal tax reductions or exemptions apply to this project. Mayor Gonzalez has indicated a 1% reduction in Municipal tax will apply to this project.

Bidders are requested to provide a breakout of all taxes contained in the General Requirements section of their Final Price Revision proposal. In addition to the above recommendations, the below listed cost reducing measures will need to be included in the Final Price Revision Proposal. The following cost reducing measures (in priority order) are to be priced:

Fill material shall be approved by the geotechnical engineer of record. It is estimated there will be approximately 392,000CY of fill available from grading these nearby areas and will eliminate import of equivalent fill. When finished with excavation, contractor will provide erosion control on embankment face where necessary.

2. ON-SITE STORAGE OF DEBRIS REMOVAL
