About this file

The document is a Performance Specification for a Virginia (VA) class submarine Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Scrubbers training system. The specification defines the requirements for the design, fabrication, installation, testing, and delivery of the VA CO2 Scrubbers Software, which will provide training for U.S. Navy personnel in the Machinist Mate Auxiliary (MMA) rate.

The key requirements include modeling the CO2 scrubber system, defining operational and maintenance procedures, supporting unguided training modes, and implementing automated performance measurement capabilities. The software must integrate with the Multipurpose Reconfigurable Training System 3D (MRTS 3D) platform and conform to specific hardware, networking, and graphical user interface standards. The software will be verified through demonstration, examination, and testing during the contract execution.
