Kansas City, MO IFR Removal Questions and Answers
1. Please provide photos of the range. Photos will be provided upon email request to christie.erickson@usdoj.gov
1. What was the previous contract value? This is a new requirement, no previous contract has been awarded.
1. Have the requirements increased or decreased? See response to #2.
1. The Healthy Home Lead Tester from Lock Up Lead is used for home applications to test for the presence of lead Yes or No. Yes. The most common lead abatement technique in a home is to remove the lead painted item, like window sills, trim and doors. This is not an option at a gun range. Most likely this range will always test positive unless for lead. This test is not applicable to a gun range. Correct.
1. What is the anticipated award date and new completion date? Goal is to award before September 14, 2018. Work is not to surpass two (2) consecutive days and needs to be completed within 90 days from date of award (this is a change to the SOW, page 1, #3, paragraph 3.)
1. Are we supplying a filter for the vacuum? USMS will be providing the vacuum with Hepa Filters.
1. Is this a firm fixed price contract or Not to Exceed? The bid sheet does not include line items for several major aspects of work. This is a firm fixed price contract. Please list the travel and supply amounts with a Not to Exceed. All costs should be captured in the CLIN’s listed on the pricing schedule.
