1.17.7.2. In addition to return air temperature control, a settable maximum supply air temperature limit and a settable minimum supply air temperature limit shall be implemented for each AHU. These limits shall act as high and low supply air temperature constraints on the cooling control output during occupied hours. The minimum supply air temperature limit shall be overridden during after hours free cooling operation as described in Section 5.4.7.2.
1.17.7.3. If the supply air temperature rises above the settable maximum supply air temperature limit, the cooling control output shall be increased to bring the supply air temperature back within the acceptable range, regardless of the return air temperature control demand.
1.17.7.4. If the supply air temperature falls below the settable minimum supply air temperature limit during occupied hours, the cooling control output shall be reduced or the cooling coil valve shall be commanded toward closed to prevent over cooling of the supply air, regardless of the return air temperature control demand.
1.17.7.5. All cooling control setpoints, including the return air temperature setpoint, the maximum supply air temperature limit, and the minimum supply air temperature limit, shall be adjustable by authorized operators from the Niagara N4 Supervisor, the Building Engineer's office touchscreen, AHU plantroom and the chiller plant area touchscreen.
