About this file

This document is a Technical Requirement Document (TRD) for the integration of a fire suppression system in Building 90 of the Anechoic Chamber at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. The key requirements include:

The government has a 30-day performance window from the contract award to integrate the existing fire suppression system in the Anechoic Chamber with the building system in Building 90. This includes connecting the fire alarm panel to a 120V AC power source, integrating the fire suppression system for alarm, supervisory, and trouble monitoring, and installing HVAC damper interrupt relays to enable damper closure before agent discharge. The vendor must also commission the system, conduct training, and perform pre-tests and a final test with the base fire marshal. The installed system must be 100% compatible with the existing fire suppression equipment on-site.

The related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number FA282324QA042, is a pre-solicitation for this fire suppression system installation project, which the Air Force Test Center has been working on for approximately two years. Interested vendors capable of providing these services are requested to respond.
