Town_of_Manchester_2023_Holiday_Calendar.pdf

The document is an official 2023 holiday calendar for the Town of Manchester, Connecticut's Human Resources Department, detailing the dates when town offices will be closed during the calendar year. The document lists 14 total holidays, including standard federal and state observances such as New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, as well as specific local observations like Good Friday and a floating holiday. The calendar includes a note that the town retains discretion to substitute the traditional date for celebrating Lincoln's Birthday, provided notification occurs by December 31st for the following year.

While the holiday calendar is not directly related to the ON-CALL CULVERT CLEANING AND INSPECTION contract opportunity, it provides insight into the operational schedule of the Town of Manchester, which could be relevant for potential contractors planning project timelines and work schedules. The document demonstrates the town's administrative practices and commitment to providing clear guidance to employees and potential service providers about official workplace closures throughout the year.
