About this file
This document contains the specifications for a vault door and frame replacement project to be conducted for the State of Oregon and the local jurisdictions of Marion County and Salem City. The project requires the removal and replacement of one existing weapons vault door and frame in the East hallway of the Salem Armory, including the installation of a custom cage door with locking capabilities at the North Vault location. The project also includes the disposal of the old doors and locks per Department of Defense (DoD) requirements, as well as any necessary adjustments to the Intrusion Detection System (IDS). All components must be new and unused.
The document provides details on the product specifications, including the requirement that the door and frame assembly meet federal specification AA-D-600D and be an Overly Door Company model or approved equal. The project timeline and installation requirements are also outlined, including the need for the contractor to coordinate with other trades and ensure proper preparation of the backup systems.
