Tentative Bus Schedule for Athletics Bus Bid ES2627-001.xlsx

This is a tentative bus schedule worksheet for athletics transportation services prepared by the University of Maryland Eastern Shore for Invitation for Bid (IFB) ES26/27-001. The document outlines comprehensive transportation requirements across 15 varsity sports programs, including women's volleyball, cross country, bowling, golf, basketball, men's volleyball, indoor and outdoor track, softball, and baseball, with the addition of women's flag football. The schedule spans from August 2026 through May 2027 and encompasses 104 separate trips, ranging from same-day round trips to multi-day excursions with overnight stays. Trips require both 55-passenger and 30-40 passenger buses depending on sport and team size, with destinations distributed throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and Southeast regions. Multiple trips are designated as conference championships, including MEAC Championships for various sports. The schedule indicates that some sport schedules remain incomplete, particularly for bowling, golf, and men's volleyball spring season competitions, as well as the newly added women's flag football program, which is projected to require a minimum of eight away games.

Pricing information is not populated in the worksheet, as this is a bid document requesting contractor proposals for the full scope of services. The University has designated specific bus capacity requirements by sport and noted that certain trips will be combined for cost efficiency, such as the October cross-country and volleyball trips to North Carolina locations. The document explicitly acknowledges schedule incompleteness for multiple programs, indicating that bidders should be prepared to accommodate additional trips beyond those currently listed as schedules are finalized through the 2026-2027 academic year.
