About this file
This document is a technical specification section for hot and cold water pumps related to a state and local contract opportunity. The specification details the requirements for furnishing 17 centrifugal pumps, including 4 hot water, 10 cold water, and 3 primary hot water heating supply pumps, to replace existing pumps at the Deer Island Treatment Plant. The pumps must meet specific design, material, and performance criteria outlined in the document. Submittal requirements include shop drawings, manufacturer's literature, operation and maintenance manuals, and other technical information. The pumps must be standard cataloged equipment from approved manufacturers, and the supplier must provide the pumps as a complete, compatible package. Delivery, storage, and handling requirements are also specified.
The document does not provide details on pricing, set asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other commercial terms. It focuses entirely on the technical specifications and requirements for the hot and cold water pumps required under this state and local contract opportunity.
