About this file
This document details Task Order Proposal Requirements for a heritage resource inventory contract with the U.S. Forest Service Rocky Mountain Region. The instructions specify that any warranted Contracting Officer within Region 2 may solicit quotes and issue task orders, with additional specifications provided in individual Task Order Request for Proposals (TO RFP). Contractors must submit comprehensive proposals including a Task Order Price Proposal, Task Order Work Plan, Special Conditions, and Subcontractor Names.
The Work Plan must include a Quality Control Plan, Schedule of Work, Communication Plan, and Employee Listing. The field season is estimated from mid-May through September, and task orders may cover part or all of this period. Price proposals must be detailed, with unique line items for major work components, and cannot use lump-sum estimates. Non-pre-priced work like travel must be broken out by number of trips and purpose, with prices not exceeding GSA Per Diem rates. The solicitation is for multiple firm-fixed price IDIQ contracts for heritage resource inventories in Wyoming's Bighorn and Shoshone National Forests, designated as a Small Business Set-Aside with a NAICS code of 541990.
