About this file
This document is a Tailored 52.212-2 Evaluation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services Addendum, outlining the government's evaluation criteria for a quotation. The solicitation will evaluate quotations based on three primary factors: Technical/Quality, Veterans' Involvement, and Price. For the Technical/Quality factor, authorized distributors of Karl Storz equipment must provide an OEM distributor letter, and quoters must demonstrate capability to comply with salient characteristics. The Veterans' Involvement factor provides evaluation credit for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) that are registered in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database and meet federal small business size standards for the assigned NAICS code. The government will evaluate pricing by adding the total of all line-item prices, including options, and reserves the right to select a quotation that provides the best overall benefit, not necessarily the lowest price.
