About this file

This document is a comprehensive set of job descriptions for the Florence West Correctional & Rehabilitation Facility, a detention center proposed by The GEO Group to the Arizona Department of Corrections in response to a solicitation (BPM004542) for 750 Minimum and Low Custody Contract Beds. The document details position descriptions across seven primary departments: Executive Office, Business Support, Maintenance, Food Service, Health Services, Programs, and Security and Correctional Officers. Each job description includes a summary of responsibilities, minimum requirements, and working conditions for positions ranging from entry-level clerks to management roles.

The job descriptions outline a full-service correctional facility with comprehensive staffing across critical operational areas, including administrative management, healthcare, educational and rehabilitative programming, security, food services, and business support. Key positions such as the Facility Administrator, Health Services Administrator, and Chief of Security demonstrate the facility's focus on comprehensive inmate management, healthcare delivery, rehabilitation, and security. The document suggests a holistic approach to detention that emphasizes not just containment, but also inmate development through programs like the Continuum of Care, which includes transition planning, educational opportunities, and post-release support services.
