About this file
This document is a Bid Amendment #1 issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property for Bid Solicitation #24DPP00945 T3144, covering Specialized Microbial Cleaning and Employee Health Based Cleaning services statewide. The amendment modifies the original bid solicitation, changing the quote submission date from May 8, 2025, to May 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The contract seeks contractors to provide comprehensive site-specific deep cleaning and sanitization services for state departments and agencies in response to viral and bacterial disease exposures, including coronavirus, orthopox viruses, MRSA, C. Diff, and meningitis. The procurement is structured across three geographical regions (North, Central, and South), with potential for up to nine total contract awards.
The amendment provides clarifications on various bid submission requirements, including electronic quote submission through NJSTART, PDF document access, and wage determination guidelines. The state estimates spending approximately $1,000,000 through the initial three-year contract term, with potential for a two-year extension. Pricing will be based on hourly rates for supervisors, project managers, and technicians, including straight time and overtime rates, plus an hourly rate for limited directional fogging. The contract is subject to the Building Service Contract Act under the Janitorial job classification, with prevailing wage requirements applying to state-owned buildings and certain leased properties. Contractors must be available 24/7, respond within one hour of notification, and adhere to CDC, EPA, OSHA, and New Jersey Department of Health guidelines.
