About this file
This document is a Bid Amendment for a State of New Jersey Department of the Treasury contract solicitation (Bid Solicitation #19DPP00414 T3089) for Laboratory Services: Forensic Toxicology and Law Enforcement Steroid Testing. The contract would serve the Office of the State Medical Examiner (OSME) and the revised Quote submission deadline has been extended from September 5, 2019 to October 2, 2019. The contract scope includes post-mortem toxicology testing services for blood, urine, and tissue samples. Vendors must be certified to ANSI-ASCLD/LAB ISO 17025 standards for forensic toxicology.
The revised Bid Solicitation and Price Schedule provide additional details and clarifications on the required services and testing categories. The current incumbent vendors are Axis and NMS Labs, and the average price per post-mortem toxicology case is $184. The contract solicitation was reissued due to issues with the previous price schedule and testing requirements. The anticipated contract start date will depend on the using agency's needs.
