About this file

This document is a Bid Amendment #2 issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury Division of Purchase and Property Procurement Bureau for Bid Solicitation #19DPP00422 T0845, which is for Regulated Medical Waste, DEA Pharmaceuticals, & RCRA Hazardous Waste Disposal services on a statewide basis. The amendment includes answers to vendor questions and notes that a revised bid solicitation has been posted. The contract will serve the State of New Jersey as well as Cooperative Purchasing Partner Participants, with pickups required at 21 initial sites, possibly expanding to up to 97 total locations during the contract term. The quote submission due date is December 18, 2019.

Regarding pricing, the State has declined to revise the pricing structure and requires vendors to submit pricing on a per-container rate basis for both DEA controlled substance disposal and RCRA hazardous pharmaceutical waste disposal, rather than allowing a flat monthly fee structure. The contract will not be subject to the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, but the State's Prompt Payment Act, requiring payment within 60 days, will apply.
