About this file
This document is a Bid Amendment for a state procurement opportunity issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property, specifically Bid Solicitation #25DPP01143 T0790 for Firefighter Protective Gear, Equipment and Supplies - Statewide. The bid solicitation seeks competitive proposals for eight product categories including turnout gear, helmets, protective hoods, boots, gloves, personal alert safety systems (PASS), self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), and search and rescue/vehicle extrication equipment. The bid is scheduled for quote submission on June 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, with an anticipated four-year contract term and potential extensions of up to three additional years. Bidders can submit proposals for single or multiple categories and must provide pricing as a percentage discount or markup from manufacturer price lists, with all products required to meet the latest National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.
The procurement includes a small business set-aside preference, with small business enterprises receiving a 15% pricing consideration during evaluation. Vendors must complete comprehensive documentation, including a Bidder Data Form, standard procurement forms, and detailed pricing information. The state will conduct mini-bid processes for Using Agencies to select products, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum purchase volume commitments. Contractors are required to submit current pricing, including applicable tariffs, through a price list during the mini-bid process. Potential bidders must demonstrate current business registration, meet equal employment opportunity requirements, and comply with state regulations. The bid amendment addresses various procedural questions, including PDF access, quote submission protocols, and certification status verification, providing clarity for potential bidders on the procurement process.
