About this file

This document is a Bid Amendment for a state contract opportunity issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property, Procurement Bureau, for Tower Maintenance services for the state's land mobile radio and broadcast television towers. The contract has a three-year term, with options to extend for up to two additional one-year periods. The bid submission due date has been extended from October 23, 2024 to October 29, 2024. The state intends to award up to six contracts, with up to two contracts per geographic region (South, Central, North). Bidders can bid on any or all regions. The scope of work includes tower relamping, inspections, antenna replacement, response time requirements, lighting protection and grounding, equipment and staffing availability, security and clearance, and contractor experience and qualifications.

The pricing is based on all-inclusive hourly labor rates and equipment costs, which must be provided on the state-supplied price sheet. The state is seeking to partner with small, woman-owned, minority-owned, veteran-owned, and disabled veteran-owned businesses, but no specific set-aside designations or budget ranges are provided. This is a reprocurement of existing tower maintenance services, and the solicitation prohibits the use of any data or information from the current contract. The prevailing wage requirements apply to this contract.
