About this file

The document is an Invitation for Bid (ITB) # 32110-13727, Amendment # 1, issued by the State of Tennessee's Central Procurement Office for Shredding Services. This amendment follows the termination of a previous contract (Contract #87015) with Vital Records Holding LLC, which was cancelled on May 19, 2025, for convenience. The new solicitation covers shredding services across four regions with an estimated 358 total locations: Region 1 with 60 locations, Region 2 with 51 locations, Region 3 with 189 locations, and Region 4 with 58 locations. Bidders are allowed to submit proposals for individual regions, and the bid responses will be evaluated using a specific evaluation model.

The contract termination documents indicate that the previous contract with Vital Records Holding LLC was to be effective from May 19, 2025, to May 18, 2028, but was terminated early on June 19, 2025. The justification provided is that it is in the State's best interest to cancel the contract. The amendment provides clarification that this is a new solicitation (ITB #32110-13727) and is not a continuation of the previous bid (Event #32110-13596). Potential bidders are encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions, specifically Section 2.1, which outlines the details for submitting bids for individual regions. The bid includes an Expected Annual Quantities listing per region, which will be crucial for bidders in preparing their proposals.
